Lost interest..

...LOST INTEREST!

hey guys, recently ive lost interest. in graphics, editing, stardoll. the whole thing, ive tryed to get back on track but ive realised it isnt very enjoyfull, its something to do when im stuck on the laptop all day, ive realised i actually need a life. i was never good at it anyway, i never drew many graphics, i was determined to but no matter how hard i tried it was a fail. i would like to learn how to draw graphics, a close friend of mine is willing to teach me. i know i dont have many fans of my blog so thats another reason to think why?

...i think i need to wait a while until i get my insperation back to blog, draw&edit. editing is something i still do, but it takes to much time. i will still visit stardoll now and then, but i geuss that wont be very often. i can honestly say, i have a life now...

As you All know i havent been bloging recently because i have been on holiday, and had to catch up with all my school work so now the weekends finnaly came and i can get back to whats been happening online.

As you all know michael jackson passed away a year ago yesterday, here is my tribute to him

i love michael jackson, he is my insiperation and i am his number one fan. he was such a creative artist, and no matter how proud he was of his work he was always willing to push it to the next level! he was a perfectionist always full off ideas and the first to do new things which had never been done before! he made history for music and he made history for dance.

he inspired so many people, with his singing and his personality. he loved to love. michael loved children and he loved giving. his heart was in the right place, it was warm and gentle. so many people tempered with it and wanted to hurt him. he never ment any harm. he was a peacfull human being.

he was a big kid. hurt as a child and constantley in the spotlight. he just wanted a normal life and he never got one, honestly i could go on for ages. michael jackson was known for so many things good and sadly some bad. all we need to know he was a wonderfull person who will never be forgoten, rip MJ!

Hey guys! its my 2nd day in turkey! havent took any pictures yet so i will put them on later in the week when i have taken some! right now i am red as a tomoto, on the first day of my holiday i burnt- something i wasnt expecting! ok, i understand i am fair skinned but one day! in agony right now so i have come inside to go on the computor! the sun was torchering my skin (if thats how you spell it, lol) anyway i only have 27 mins left now, actually make that 26 now. i had to pay, well my dad had to pay ! 5 quid for me to go on the computor for an hour! awfull. anyway this keyboard is so confusing! its different to the one at home but the buttons are in the same place for example the ) is where it is normally except it had a equals sign on the key? im confused:L

anway i best be off now so i can update other websites before i run out of  time. i will probably cool down in my room after my time is up!

busy busy me!

hey guys! this will be my last update for up to 2 weeks! yes 2 weeks! the sun is shining more on miserable england and summer is near! and guess what? im going on holiday, to turkey! i think im going to dalaman not to sure, i just know its the holiday village. i know the holiday is going to drag so im going to take plenty of pictures for you too see! if im lucky there will be a computor at the hotel so i can update you with whats going on and what ive been up to! of course im not going to forget about the competition that will start late june after i come back!

Calling All Graphic Designers- NEW COMPETITION

Calling All Graphic Designers interested in writting for a new blog!

i am starting up a new competition called ''ive got talent'' !
for all them who are unaware of this new competition then the rules are simple, you create a graphic. it could be for anything and about anything. just try to impress me. though, if you are a begginer and are thinking of printscreening hair of dress up doll websites then you will be imeadiatley disqualified! i will allow you to print screen the base of you face of your stardoll only! you must still draw your own makeup, clothes and accesories!

how to enter? simple. create your graphic and sent it to me through email-

once you have sent it to me you wait, and once everyone has handed in there graphics and no more can be given to me i shall judge my favourite 15 graphics out of 25. once i have done that i shall announce it on here what the next step of the competition is (i will aslo list who has got through but i will notify you through email anyway)

the task might be to do something on stardoll? maybe a scenery or design a doll?

then i will choose the 5 best!

you will be asked to do one finnal graphic and this is where the public decide i will make a poll where the public can vote who they want to win!

Baby steps to elephant steps!

Hey! its me again, with another update! off course, as you know i have been wanting to get into graphics. ive been experimenting with different brushes and tools on gimp, ive also had a few tuturial lessons from my friend rachel! (visit her blog- http://www.planetzephora.blogspot.com/)

i have made a few mistakes and made a few improvments. i have done things that i am proud of and for a first shot, its not too bad?

i havent drew anyof the face i have added make-up and hair, im not that good yet!

so obviously i havent done the hair! im not good enough for that yet either! my friend rachel did it. i have done the makeup! i have changed the colour of the lips and hilighted them slightly, though you cannot see! i have give her eyeshadow and made her eyelashes bolder and longer, i also gave her a slight pink blusher, i dint want to make the make up to heavey!

Baby Steps

ok. so, so far Razzledazzle/Zephora101 has designed all my blogspot banners and my 'astooblastoo' signature above. this time ive decided to go solo. ive decided to experiment with my own designs and ideas. so obviously i want to get into graphics, ive been inspired by my close personal friend Razzledazzle/Zephora101 and Reira422. they are both very creative graphic designers and i hope to be like them. so far this is what i have designed i sorta went for a lady gaga look! remember, i am a beginer so dont expect big from me- and sorry about the hair i had to choice a boy's hair style while i was designing the graphic doll's face!

ok, so this is just plain, simple and basic. no makeup, no accesories, simply no detial. how boring right?

what you think cool right? ill tell you what i have done and i will give you a few tips along the way!..

Hair!
Ok, so what i have done here is simple and basic. i have chosen a small, bouncy super star style hair. because the hair is so high above the head and is very large it would look silly without any hair Accesories!

what i have chosen is a small head band that covers the whole head. you can buy the red head band for 4 stardollers in the 'splendid' shop, and you can get them in other colours and styles! the flower which i have attached to the head band is also in the splendid shop for 2 stardollers! remember when you are creating your head band to not put the flower or the attachment in the middle, this will make you look to much of a hippy. you want to look casual and stylish. make sure the new headband is not placed like it is sitting on top of your hair, its ment to rest gently on the head. not the hair.

for the hair colour i have given her a dark colour and i have gave her light hilights which you can buy from the 'DOREE collection' for either 6 or 8 stardollers (for superstars only). you can get 9 different varietys of colours! i suggest for lighter hair to use more colourfull hilights, and try experement to mix them! for darker hair use lighter hilights and colour all of the hair that can be hilighted.

Aswell as getting hilights you can get dye, to dye the whole thing! i would go for the lighter colours as they are more realistic, it looks better that way! the yellows and the grey looks to tacky, the hilights make them look worse! id avoid them completley, even for themed me-dolls. these are also 6 stardollers in the 'DOREE collection' shop!(superstars only)

MakeUp+Accesories
(remember all makeup is for superstars only)

The thing you need to remember about makeup is not to go over the top! lets start with the eyes! for the eyes i have used to lighter eye shadows blue and white to make it stand out from the darker hair colours and accesories. i started with a thin layer of blue and then a thin layer of white, try to get it even on both eyes or it will look too fake! eye shadow can be bought from 'dot' for 6 or 5 stardollers there are 6 different colours you can get!...never, EVER use fake eyelashes it will make your medoll look tacky, make sure when you use make up for your eye lashes to extend them. what i have done is used black liquid eyeliner to make the eyes stand out and look bolder from the eyeshadow. liquid eyeliner can be bought from 'dot' for 4 or 3 stardollers, you can get 6 different colours. Pencil eyeliner can also be bought from 'dot' for 9, 8 or 7. you can get them in 16 different colours. (the come in different sizes too) i have used black volumising mascara for the eyes to make them bolder. they are 3 or 4 stardollers depending, there are 4 you can get all together in the 'dot' shop. (you can buy the lengthing mascarar which come in 4 colours for 3 or 2 stardollers in the 'dot' shop also, but they dont have much affect!) .. remember to experement with all this makeup! remember to make it look effective, not tacky!

Now, eye accesories? might sound weird, but youve got to love it! i have used cat eyes on my eyes, you can go mad with eye accesories as it maks your eyes more anime! i have used two yellow cat eyes, which you can get for 1 stardoller in the splendid shop in jewlry. i have also used blue tears, to lighten the eye to match the eyeshadow and change the way the me-doll is looking! these are also 1 stardoller each in the splendid shop! i have used to gold nose rings to give the eye a sparkle to it, these are 2 stardollers in the splendid shop! remember to experiment with your eyes, you can do ANYTHING with them! (tears are the ones that are mostly used).

the cheeks! for my me- doll i have used a light brush under the cheek bone, make sure its not to heavy if you have used lighter eyeshadow! if you are going for the fake me doll look i would make the blusher heavier and shinier! remember you can get blusher for 8 stardollers in the 'dot' shop, from a choice of 6 different colours! also on the cheeks i have used 6 beauty spots (3 on each) to give my me doll a more cheeky look. these can be baught from the 'Splendid' shop for 1 stardoller. id advise you not to use the red as it is to fake and tacky!

The lips! i havent done anything to my lips, let the lips be natural. so there not boring or plain, i have use a silver lip ring which you can get for 2 stardollers in the 'Splendid' shop.

the should never be taken to over the top with peircings an lipstick, it can look to fake! but if you are interested in lipstick it can be bought from the 'dot' shop for 8,9 or 10 stardollers. there are 14 different colours.

Glitz n' Glam



so this is glitter, and this is fashionable!so i never buy glittery clothing unless its stylish! my favourite one here is my black glittery cardi! inspired by the michael jackson 'billie jean' outfit, i think this new design is stunning! my gold glittery top simple and basic, it goes in at the waste and flows out towards the bottom giving it an elagent, classy but party look! the purple glittery checkered top is great for nights out, it is very tight and short and good for themed nights out.






Summer dresses' 10



admit it! we all love to dress our me-dolls in dresses, whether you like to keep it casual you know you love to look elegant and classy! my favourite one here is my black flowery one in the top left corner. it starts of tight, with thicker straps for a unique look. the belt brings out your curves and allows it to flow out bellow. the flowers gve it a summery look. the short middle one is a must by, the pattern is very detailed and texured, it is very short for the summer and kept very basic with the outline. it has been given a yellow for a summery look! the one on the far right has been giving an elagent look, more extravagent as it is much longer! it is very flowing and light, the colour is very light and the see shell belt makes it a perfect sea shore summer look! finnaly the bottom left is a summer night dress, for disco or weddings. it is very short and should be worn with tights, not fish nets! the belt is very high up, giving it a more flowing look instead of curvey. it is very stylish with a holterneck and the colour is well chosen!




Denims in!

as its getting closer to summer dont be affraid to dress your me-doll in dennim! shorts during the day and skinny jeans at night! my favourite here is the shorts, as its summer they are perfect for the day. very light and casual for sun bathing, water fights and days out, to be worn with a simple vest top and pumps. the jeans are for the night, dark for the night and perfect for a nice long top and ugg boots! so entering a competition? remember shorts-day. jeans-night!






Jackets n' Cardi's

now tell me you dont dress your me-doll with out a jacket. they just simply look unstylish! my favourite here is the yellow, top right jacket. it is simple and basic, no textures or patterns and perfect for a casual look. tops should not be worn under it as it is very high up and makes your me-doll look casuall. the grey cardi is also simple and basic, worn with a simple vest top or a short dress for the finishing touch! the top left is a very tight, pink and black checkered jacket. the perfect raincoat. though its good for a normal jacket, it may be punk but it could be used for just normall too! this is also very basic and stylish. dont wear a top under this either. and finnaly the bottom left, the michael jackson 'thriller' jacket. its a perfect dress up, and only the coolest wear it!
